1-2-1 Dog Behaviour Modification Training
Do you know the difference between Behaviour Training and Obedience Training?
Knowing What Kind of Training You Need.
Dog behaviour training and dog obedience training serve different purposes in shaping a dog's conduct.
Dog behavior training focuses on addressing specific behavioral issues, such as aggression, anxiety, or excessive barking. This type of training aims to modify problematic behaviors by understanding the underlying causes and implementing strategies to create positive changes.
On the other hand, dog obedience training emphasizes teaching basic commands, such as sit, stay, and come, to ensure that the dog follows instructions consistently.
While both training types are essential for a well-rounded canine, behavior training often requires a more tailored approach to resolve unique challenges, whereas obedience training lays the foundation for good communication and cooperation. Together, they create a harmonious relationship between dogs and their owners.
Here At Doggydude we Specialize in Dog Behaviour Modification Training.
To effectively address a dog's behavioral issues, We begin with a phone call or messaging to get as much information as I can to help build a big picture of the issue's.
Then we can get a session booked in so I can visit the dog's environment, observing their interactions and triggers in real-time.
During this assessment, I take note of specific problems such as dog aggression, human aggression, separation anxiety, and excessive barking. After gathering this information, I collaborate with the owner to develop a tailored plan aimed at eradicating these behaviors.
This comprehensive approach also includes strategies for managing lunging, nervousness, pulling on the lead, and jumping up at people, as well as techniques for welcoming strangers into the home.
Our 1-2-1 session lasts approximately four hours, allowing us to cover all aspects of the dog's behavior systematically, ensuring the owner feels confident in implementing the plan moving forward. Through patience and consistent training techniques, we can work towards a more balanced and well-adjusted companion.
Tailored Training Sessions to Suit.
Some dog's just have issues on the lead or socialization with other dogs, no lead manners or they are rescued from another country and have no concept of lead walking.
These all give their individual problems and if these are the problems and a big session isn't needed after a discussion we could meet up at a park and do the training there to get better with lead control.
These sessions can be a 60 minute session or how ever long we need.
There are some beautiful parks in Manchester and I believe if we do the training in your normal everyday environment then that is the best place to train.
Follow up sessions are discussed at the time of the training to see if any follow ups are needed.
Once you have the confidence to carry on with the training that I have implemented with yourself and your dog.
You will soon be the talk of the park.
